The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

Psalm 33:1-3

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.

Psalm 95: 1,2

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Leet us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
